You will experience the river life and visit villages off of the usual tourist trails adding to your trip an unforgettable experience. Board the boat from Mandalay and enjoy sailing towards Salay. On the way, visit the majestic town Ava and the secluded yet charming Monywa. Before you arrive into Salay, explore the famous pottery village Yandabo where the Peace Treaty was signed in 1862 to stop the Anglo-Burmese war.

Board the Ship at Sagaing Jetty at 10:30 hours and cast off at 11:00 hours. Welcome cocktail and lunch to be followed. Next you visit the ancient city of Ava, capital of the Burmese Kingdom from 1364 to 1841, by a traditional horse-cart visiting the beautiful 200-year-old teak Bagaya Kyaung Monastery, Nan Myint watchtower (27 m high) and the Me Nu Oak Kyaung monastery.
Overnight on board
Early morning drive by coach (approx. 2 'bd hours) to Monywa to visit the Pho Win Taung cave, where hundreds of Buddha Statues are placed inside niches decorated with wonderful mural paintings. Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Win Unity Hotel in Monywa. After that, visit the splendid Thanbuddhe Kat Kyaw pagoda with its more than 500,000 Buddha images.
Overnight on board
In the morning, arrive to riverside village Yandabo, a picturesque small village specializing in pottery, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war signed on Feb 24, in 1826. Explore the village and visit some pottery workshops to learn their unique pot making technique. Also, take some time to visit the school and the monastery. Continue sailing until late night. Afternoon excursion to a river village for a walk and observe their typical rural ways of life. Dinner to be followed by a Puppet Show performance sundeck.
Overnight on board
After breakfast, disembark at Salay Jetty at 09:00 hours.
