You will experience the river life and visit villages off of the usual tourist trails adding to your trip an unforgettable experience. Board the boat from Mandalay and enjoy sailing towards Bagan. On the way visit to Mingun and the famous pottery villages Kyaung Myaung and Yandabo where you can observe the making processed of pottery.

The embarkation time is between 11:30 and 12:00 hours at Gawein jetty. Welcome Cocktail in the Saloon and lunch will be served on board. Sail upstream and moor overnight at a river village north of Mandalay.
Overnight on board
Visit the spectacular potteries-making village of Kyauk Myaung. Take a relaxing stroll in the village and observe the interesting stages of making the famous 50 Gallons (200 Litres) pots. Cruise back downstream to Mingun. Upon arrival, visit the famous unfinished pagoda of Mingun, the largest working bell in the world and the "home for the aged". Dance and Theatre performance on the Sundeck will be followed (if available).
Overnight on board
After breakfast, disembark and travel by coach to the ancient city of Ava, capital of the Burmese Kingdom from 1364 to 1841. Explore the ruins by horse cart, visiting the beautiful 200 years' old Bagaya Kyaung teak Monastery, Nanmyin watchtower (27 metres high) and the Me Nu Ok Kyaung monastery. Return to the ship and cast off afterwards. After sailing for a while, stop at Yandabo, a picturesque river village specializing in pottery, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war signed on Feb 24, in 1826. Explore the village and visit some pottery workshops to learn their unique pot making technique. Also, take some time to visit the school and the monastery. Continue sailing until late night. Moor overnight at mid-river.
Overnight on board
Early in the morning, proceed downstream to Bagan. Enjoy the sunrise near Bagan before you disembark at Aye Yar jetty around 09:00 hours.
