Explore the countryside and waterways at the heart of the Mekong Delta with chance to observe the unique trading way at Cai Rang floating market, the biggest one of its kind in the Delta and gain an insight into the life of local farmers as you venture deep into the labyrinth of waterways and lush islands. Your tour will mostly be done by boat, the most popular transportation mean in the region and spiced up with some soft adventure elements such as countryside biking and kayaking.

On Day 1, you will drive to Can Tho in the heart of the Mekong Delta, where you will have a chance to visit a cocoa farm, visit one of the best preserved family houses in the Delta and taste local specialties during an evening food tour. On the next day, you will explore one of the most bustling markets in Mekong Delta, Cai Rang market and then take a tour discover the countryside of Can Tho with kayaking and cycling. Enjoy pleasant biking as discovering tropical fruit orchards and the activities of the locals. On your last day, cruise through the waterways and experience the timeless scenery of life on the delta with a visit a local market, a Khmer village and vegetable nursery suspended garden by the river before transferring back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh and drive to Can Tho, the largest city in the Mekong Delta located on the southern bank of the Hau River, one of the two largest branches of the mighty Mekong. The city is often dubbed as the "Capital of the Western Region" also known as the "Rice basket of Vietnam" contributing more than half of the nation's rice production.
Upon arrival in Can Tho, drop off your luggage at the hotel and then transfer to Ninh Kieu quay to embark on an island tour with cruise on the motorized Mystic Sampan. Lunch will be served aboard. Tour activities in the afternoon include a bike tour and visit to some local homes with a short break in a garden where you can taste some seasonal fruits and coconut milk. Tour around the southern part of the island back to the initial house between orchards, gardens and the river afterward catch a local ferry and get back to C?n Th? by road transport
In the evening, have dinner at Sao Hom restaurant, then you will have free time to explore the night market. Pick up at Ninh Kieu quay at approx. 20:30 hours for transfer back to the hotel. Those who want to have a deeper exploration of the Can Tho nightlife will arrange their own transportation back to the hotel

Floating markets are the highlights of the Mekong Delta and the one in Cai Rang is the biggest. From very early morning hundreds of boats gather to trade agricultural produce brought in from all over the region. So as not to miss the chance to see the market in full swing, an early start is recommended. From your boat you will see the local farmers trading their products directly on the water as they have done for many centuries.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and then transfer to the countryside of Can Tho, about 10 km away from the city centre, for a kayaking tour. It would take you up to two hours sliding on the water at your rhythm and have a look at the life on the banks.
Back to the city for lunch at Nam Bo Restaurant and then drive to Binh Thuy district to visit the famous Binh Thuy Temple and the beautiful old house of the Le family. Afterward transfer back to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure

The countryside around Can Tho City still keeps many hidden treasures that will surely take visitors by surprise. This morning you will take a boat trip cross Hau River to visit a village of the Khmer ethnic minority people where you will be amazed by the glamour of their pagoda, a real hidden treasure with beautiful sculpture works. The tour will then take you to see a unique way of farming where local people are tending to their suspension vegetable gardens along the river banks.
Return to the hotel to check out and drive back to Ho Chi Minh City with lunch at restaurant en route
