Da Lat is not only a famous tourist destination but also one of Vietnam’s premier agricultural areas.
You will first visit the town's bustling central market, filled with local specialities such as strawberries and artichokes. The pretty Crémaillère Railway Station designed by French architects and opened in 1938 is visited next. Continue either by train (tickets on own account) or car to Trai Mat village. After discovering the village and Linh Phuoc Pagoda with its fascinating three-dimensional ceramic mosaics, visit Truc Lam Zen Buddhist Temple with one way by cable-car and see the Da Lat Cathedral. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant.

Discover Da Lat’s countryside this afternoon. You will visit a silkworm factory and inspect the entire process of silk production, from the sorting of locally grown cocoons to boiling them and then spinning silk thread. See a coffee plantation and visit a weasel coffee farm. The civets are fed with Arabica coffee berries, which are relatively undigested and intact in their droppings. These are collected, cleaned and processed for sale. Experts say the enzymes inside the weasels’ stomach give the undigested coffee beans a distinctive aroma. Stop at a flower and a strawberry farm and pass by a minority village on your way back to Da Lat.
