Departing from Mandalay, you’ll slowly begin sailing towards the city of Mingun. After several hours of enjoying the scenery, you’ll witness a spectacular sunset over the river. The following day you’ll visit Mingun where you’ll see the Pondawphaya, Settawya & Pahtodawgyi pagodas. You’ll also see the legendary Mingun Bell, one of the largest intact ringing bells in the world! From here you’ll continue your memorable cruise towards Ava, visiting the idyllic Island of Ava by horse and carriage whilst you are there. You’ll also have plenty of time to stop and explore the famous Bagaya Kyaung and Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monasteries. Next you’ll continue navigating towards Sagaing Hill for an exclusive BBQ dinner by the river, facing the picturesque hilltop dotted with white and gold pagodas.

Embarkation time is at 16:00 hours at Mandalay jetty. Enjoy welcome drinks and settle in your cabin. The boat slowly sails towards Mingun for approximately 1 'bd hours. While cruising along the fascinating scenes of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River, enjoy an aperitif on the upper deck, watching the sun slowly disappears in the river.

Breakfast will be served on the sun deck. After that, visit Pondawphaya, Settawya, Pahtodawgyi pagodas and the legendary Mingun Bell (which weighs around 90 tons/ 90000 kg) one of the largest intact ringing bells in the world. The bell was destined to King Bodawpaya's Pahtodawgyi brick pagoda which could have been the highest in the world if the project had not been halted because of the King's deep superstitions. Around 11:00 hours, back on board and cruise towards Ava. Followed by the lunch during navigation. Disembark at 15:00 hours to visit the Island of Ava by horse carriage. Make a stop at famous Bagaya Kyaung and Me Nu Oak Kyaung Monasteries. Then, navigate towards Sagaing Hill for an exclusive BBQ Dinner on the river bank facing the hilltop dotted with white and gold pagodas.
Overnight on board.
This morning, sail back to Mandalay and disembark at 10:00 hours. Depending on customers' program, time and jetty can be adjustable. (Disembarking earlier in Sagaing is recommended if guests need to catch a flight).
