Enjoy the magical atmosphere of beautiful Pandaw on this wonderful 2-day cruise. You’ll start by cruising upriver on your colonial vessel, watching the river banks pass by and enjoying a cocktail on the sun deck. Later in the afternoon, we’ll stop at Pakokku and enjoy a trishaw ride through the village before spending the night back on board. In Yandabo, we will see the pottery making process at various stages and we will also visit the Pandaw school. Yandabo’s potters are among the best-respected in all of Myanmar as their terracotta tradition reaches far into the past. Historically, Yandabo is also well-known for the signing of the Yandabo treaty, which was signed by both the Burmese and British King after the first Anglo-Burmese war. Lunch and dinner are served on board.

Embark your ship at Bagan Ayer Jetty. Welcome on board the RV Pandaw. 12:00 hrs departure flowed by briefing and lunch. Enjoy the afternoon cruising upriver on your colonial vessel, watch the river banks pass by and treat yourself with a cocktail on the sun deck. Later in the afternoon we will stop at Pakokku and enjoy a trishaw ride through the village.
Morning walk in Yandabo: This village is famous for its production of terracotta pottery from the riverbank clay. We will see pottery making process at various stages and we will also visit the Pandaw school. Historically, Yandabo is well-known for the signing of the Yandabo treaty, which has been signed by both the Burmese and British King after the first Anglo-Burmese war.
Disembark Mandalay Shwe-Kyat-Yet Jetty around 10:00 hours.
