Experience the stunning lake, smell and taste all that nature has to offer! Discover the first ethical, community-based Khao Sok Elephant Experience where you get to feed and bathe your own elephant and then you will sit down with your hosts to enjoy a typical Southern Thai lunch with the local community.

In the morning, joint transfer from Phuket Airport to office in Ban Ta Khun, here you will leave your bags for safe keeping as you will only need to bring an overnight bag with you on the lake. At around 10.00am we arrive at Rajjapraba Dam. Board your long tail boat and enjoy a tour of the breath-taking scenery on the way to the raft house. Upon arrival at the floating bungalows check into your very own traditional Thai style floating bungalow. Borrow a kayak and explore the many inlets and klongs of Cheow Lan Lake, or just relax and sunbathe while taking in the scenery. At noon we enjoy a traditional Thai lunch prepared with rich southern Thai curries, and delicious local vegetables with fruit for dessert. Afterwards we depart for a 3-hour trek through the ancient jungle of Khao Sok National Park. Depending on the season, your guide may

show you edible plant species, how to find drinking water in bamboo, and how to spot wildlife in the canopy. In the late afternoon we return to the raft house, free time: relax, swim, shower and enjoy the atmosphere. In the evening enjoy a delectable Thai dinner on the water's edge. Accommodation: Thai Style Floating Bungalow

    Meals included: Lunch & Dinner
Rise before breakfast and enjoy tea or coffee before boarding your long tail boat for a wildlife safari, sometimes with morning mist. From your boat you may see Macaque monkeys, Dusty Languars, Great Hornbills, wild Boars, Gibbons, and even the occasional wild Elephant! Upon return to the raft house enjoy a traditional Thai breakfast of Khao Tom (a savory rice porridge) eggs and toast or a pancake. After breakfast you will have some free time to swim, enjoy some independent kayaking, or find your own way to experience the peace and serenity the lake has to offer. At around midday you will enjoy another tasty Thai lunch on the water's edge before departing from the raft house and head back to the pier past more stunning scenery.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided kayaking trip down the Sok River. This is a great way to experience the natural beauty of the area and spot wildlife, such as monkeys, hornbills, kingfishers and monitor lizards with your guide you will head gently and safely down the Sok River for about an hour and a half. On the river's edge you will see openings to wonderful views of Khao Sok's breath-taking landscapes, views often hidden by the forest leaves. Tree roots entwine like claws and burst onto the limestone cliffs and rock surfaces.

Accommodation: Khao Sok Riverside Cottage (Rainforest Cottage)

    Meals included: Breakfast & Lunch
After breakfast, check out and transfer to visit the first ethical and community-based Elephant Experience in Khao Sok for an opportunity to feed and bathe an elephant rescued from a former trekking camp, having worked long days carrying tourists in harsh conditions.

This intimate experience (only 12 visitors allowed per day) is ideal for guests who want to avoid the masses, larger camps and instead learn about the elephant's story as well as a chance to interact on a more personal level.

Guests will get the chance to meet the mahout (elephant trainer) and his family, as well as prepare the elephant's food consisting of; fruits, vegetables and handmade sticky rice medicine pies, and bathe the elephant in his "Mud Spa" whilst scrubbing him down with an organically made "coconut elephant loofah". The experience ends with guests planting sugar cane for the elephant and his friends to eat in the future.

By participating in this program, guests are helping to fund the rescue of more abused elephants and helping to send a clear message that these majestic creatures must not be exploited.

Then after waving goodbye to Giant friend and transfer to your next destination
