Departing from the Ayeyarwaddy Minthamee Jetty, you’ll commence your cruise aboard the RV Yandabo. Sailing upstream, you’ll arrive at Yandabo Village at about 3.00pm. You’ll spend the afternoon exploring the village and getting a glimpse into the lives of the local villagers. Yandabo is famous for the production of terracotta that is sourced from the local riverbank. As you wander the village, you’ll see the pottery making process in action. Yandabo is also historically significant as it was the location for the sing of the Yandabo Treaty between the British and the Royal Burmese Household of Ava in 1826. You’ll continue sailing to Shwe Pauk Pin village where you’ll moor overnight. The following day, you’ll continue sailing the serene river system, arriving in Mandalay at around 4.00pm.

Embarkation time is 09:00 at Shwe Kyat Yatt Jetty (Mandalay). Welcome Drink and briefing. Cruising downstream to Yandabo Village. Sightseeing about an hour at Yandabo Village. Dependant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. We can see the process of makingpottery in various stages. Yandabo, historically recognized for the signing of the Yandabo Treaty which took place under a tree on the riverbank in 1826 between the British and Burma. Back to the board and cast off.Lunch and Dinner on board. Moor overnight on board near Chindwin confluence.
In the morning, continue sailing downstream and arrive to Bagan round about 09:30 am. Disembark from board.
