06:00 hours In the morning pick up from major hotel in Bangkok downtown area and drive approx. 2 hours to Kanchanaburi.
09:00 hours Arrive Kanchanaburi, visit Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, where interactive exhibits, short films and clear descriptions provide the context of the Japanese aggression in Southeast Asia, detail their plans for the railway and describe the horrors faced by those prisoners who worked and died constructing it. Then walk to War cemetery and memorial site nearby.
12:00 hours Take a longtail boat on the Kwai River, passing unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. Check in and lunch at your rafts.
After lunch, again by longtail boat downstream to Phutakian pier and continue on road to visit Hellfire Pass Memorial. Late afternoon, return back to your raft. Dinner, followed by a 45-minute presentation of Mon Dance.
Overnight on River Kwai Jungle Raft -Raft Room - There is no electricity in the raft. The raft room with en-suite cold water shower and western style toilet
