Travel from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap through incredible scenery while experiencing the culture and history of Cambodia. We’ll start by heading to Kompong Cham with a stop in Skuon to taste Cambodia’s more exotic culinary delights, like the deep-fried spider. After a tour of Kompong Cham and its colonial architecture, we’ll visit Wat Nokhor where you’ll see its ancient temple and modern style pagoda. We’ll visit Wat Kohear Nokor before heading to the Santuk Silk Farm to learn about silk making. You’ll also get the chance to see a nearby stone carving village. The next day, we’ll visit traditional villages on our way to Sambor Prei Kuk to visit the ancient capital of Chenla and its 100 pre-Andkorian temples. Finally, we’ll stop at the ancient Naga Bridge before arriving in Siem Reap.

Pick up from hotel or airport and depart Phnom Penh by car for Kompong Cham. Make a stop in Skuon to taste Cambodia's more exotic culinary delights, the deep-fried spider. Short tour of Kompong Cham to view examples of colonial architecture. Visit Wat Nokhor with its ancient temple and modern style pagoda (12th century).
Lunch at local restaurant.
Continue to Kompong Thom. En route, visit Wat Kohear Nokor (11th century).
The Santuk Silk Farm makes a perfect stop, here you can learn about the process of silk weaving from worm to weaving and contribute to the sustainable development of the community. Visit a stone carving village nearby.
Arrive in Kompong Thom.
Dinner and accommodation at best available hotel.
Breakfast at hotel.
Depart Kompong Thom for Sambor Prei Kuk, located 35 km northeast of Kompong Thom. En route, visit traditional villages. Visit the ancient capital of Chenla with its 100 temples dating from the Pre-Angkorian period.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Continue to Siem Reap and stop at the ancient Naga Bridge (Spean Pratpo), located 40 km from Siem Reap.
Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to the hotel (accommodation in Siem Reap not included in tour price).
