You’ll commence your tour in sunny Singapore before departing to Johor Bahru and Malacca. Here you’ll experience the colonial charm of this town as you explore the Kapitan Kling Mosque, Jonker’s Street and the famous Porta de Santiago. The following day you’ll depart for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital city and a true shopper’s paradise! Here you’ll have plenty of time to explore the main points of interest including the National Mosque, Independent Square and colourful Chinatown. Other highlights from your tour include an evening cruise to see fireflies, the amazing Batu Caves, historic Penang and the picturesque Cameron Highlands. You’ll conclude your tour with visits to Kota Bharu, Kuala Terengganu and a Cherating Village before returning to either Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

    Meet in your hotel lobby between 8.00 - 8.15 hours. Cross the border to Johor Bahru and change vehicle. Before reaching Malacca city, pass through some Malay and Chinese Villages to admire the architecture that reflects the traditional culture.

    After lunch, (lunch on own account OR lunch supplement charged separately), tour the landmark historical sites of the city. These include Cheng Hoon Teng Temple - the oldest functioning Chinese Temple in Malaysia, Kapitan Kling Mosque, Jonker's Street (Antique Row), the Baba and Nyonya Museum, the Stathuys Building, Malacca Clock Tower, Christ Church and the famous Porta de Santiago.

    After breakfast at the hotel, depart to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. Along the way, stop to take pictures of typical Malay houses and the scenic countryside. Lunch stop en route. On arrival at Kuala Lumpur enjoy a city tour and get a flavour of this fantastic city. A stop at the King's Palace is a perfect photo opportunity and then continue to the National Mosque and Independence Square (Merdeka Square). Next, arrive at the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad Building, with its distinctive Moorish-style and stunning clock tower. It is one of the most photographed buildings in KL. The Royal Selangor Club, St. Mary's Church and the world's tallest free-standing Flag Pole are the final stops before passing colourful Chinatown completes the city tour.

    After breakfast, the morning is free at leisure. Perhaps a perfect time to check out why Kuala Lumpur is known as a shopping paradise!

    Meet to transfer to Kuala Selangor, about a 90-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Selangor has much to offer the traveller, especially those who wish to take a peek at Malaysian rural life.

    Fishing and farming are the main occupations here, although a large part of the area grows oil palm and rubber. Upon arrival, visit a Chinese fishing village. A stop here for dinner allows you to try a sumptuous Chinese seafood dinner (dinner on own account OR dinner supplement charged separately). After dinner is a real treat and the highlight of the evening: watching fireflies! Take to the water and be rowed upstream where you can see thousands of fireflies flickering like Christmas lights in mangrove trees lining the banks of the river. After this marvellous spectacle, drive back to the city, reaching KL city around 23:00 hours.

    After breakfast at the hotel, depart from your hotel in Kuala Lumpur to the Cameron Highlands. En route, visit the famous Batu Caves with the shrine of the Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam set within an outcrop of limestone caves. Batu Caves is a popular place of worship for the Hindus and each year during their auspicious celebration of Thaipusam hundreds of thousands of Hindu will throng the temple. After the cave, continue to the Cameron Highlands, which are 1,542 metres above sea level and have the prefect climate to grow tea. On the way north to the Hill Resort of Cameron Highlands, visit the Lata Iskandar Waterfall. Upon arrival at the Cameron Highlands, check in at the hotel. Rest of the afternoon/evening is free at leisure.

    After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a tour of the Cameron Highlands visiting a tea plantation, tea factory, a vegetable farm and the market square. Afterwards, continue the journey towards Penang. En route visits include the Sam Poh Tong Cave Temple in Ipoh, the Ubudiah Mosque and Iskandariah Palace in Kuala Kangsar. Cross over to Penang, using the fourth longest bridge in Southeast Asia arriving in the evening.

    After breakfast at the hotel, drive towards Kota Bharu using the East-West Highway. This route offers breathtaking views of the tropical rainforest. If you are lucky you may have to stop for elephants crossing the road. You should arrive in Kota Bharu in the evening.

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, have a short orientation tour through Kota Bharu and visit the colourful wet market. Most of the market traders are women, which is a unique aspect of the culture of Kelantan State. Watch out for a variety of local items like batik clothes, cloth with exotic patterns, fruits and vegetables. Kota Bahru is also famous for its silverware and trinkets, kite making, top spinning and songket weaving. There is an opportunity to see how brown sugar is tapped and processed. The town also offers a wide variety of local sweet cakes and delicacies, unique to this part of the country.

    Continue the journey to Terengganu.

    Visit Pulau Duyong Besar, the largest island in the estuary. Fishing boats are built here using age-old techniques and tools. Drive through Chinatown and view the Maziah Palace and State Mosque.
