Laos and Cambodia have plans to build a bridge crossing the Xelamphao River, known as the Ropov River in Cambodia, which currently serves as a border demarcation.
The bridge will link Mounlapamok district, Champasack province, Laos with Thapeuay sub-district, Preah Vihear province, Cambodia. This structure will improve connections between the countries and will boost trade and tourism for both nations. Both countries will cooperate together in building the bridge. However, the cost of the construction is yet to be confirmed.
