Knai Bang Chatt achieves ‘Green Growth Gold’ certificate

 

Knai Bang Chatt received the ‘Green Growth GOLD’ certification for the second consecutive year. In 2016 Knai Bang Chatt became the first hotel in Cambodia to achieve Gold certification in the Green Growth 2050 Global Standard ratings. The most recent audit identified that Knai Bang Chatt has developed further in sustainability indicators and standards especially in the areas of sustainable operations and best practice, sustainability management, pollution reduction and protection of bio-diversity.

 

Green Growth 2050 has been developed to meet the needs of tourism and travel businesses seeking today’s solutions to the issues driving social, cultural and environmental change and move beyond the current one-dimensional, legacy, certification-based solutions of yesterday.

Green Growth 2050 Global Standard includes over 400 CSR and sustainability indicators making it one of the most comprehensive travel and tourism based standards available.
