L’Alya Ninh Van Bay is located on the area of 9 ha of the 39.5 ha project within Hon Heo peninsula in Nha Trang city. It is 15 minutes from the mainland by speed boat and 20 minutes from the Nha Trang city centre by bus. This low-slung, eco-conscious resort is hidden amid tropical greenery and encircled by the rocky outcrops and calm green waters of Ninh Van Bay. There’s only one other luxury hotel in the area, creating a sense of glorious isolation. But remote as it is, L’Alya Ninh Van Bay provides every possible creature comfort, with outstanding butler service, a gourmet restaurant, a small spa for massages, and private terraces with plunge pools for each of the 35 standalone villas. The resort hugs the honey-hued beach, with sandy trails leading through the trees and a communal infinity pool looking across the bay to the forested hills beyond. It’s popular with couples and honeymooners, who can treat themselves to candlelit dinners on the shore, picnics by jungle waterfalls and, in some villas, alfresco soaks in outdoor bathtubs hewn from rock. But a cluster of 2-bedroom villas means it attracts families and groups of friends, too, with free bikes, guided jungle walks, on-site water sports, cookery classes and trips to local lobster-fishing communities all available for those who fancy being a little more active.
