Bagan Thande Hotel

Bagan Thande Hotel is a charming hotel in the Bagan city area, located on the edge of the Eastern bank of the great Ayarwaddy River. Nearby is one of the big sacred stupa, Gawdaw-palin. Within walking distance is also the Bagan Archaeological Museum. The hotel has the only prominent colonial building in Ancient Bagan City built in 1922 when the Prince of Wales of Britain visited Bagan. It houses today the restaurant and reception area. The hotel is also known for its shady trees and gorgeous views to the river.
