Hong Kong Disneyland Unveils Latest Hotel

At the end of April, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort unveiled its third resort hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge, which also offers recreation, shopping, culinary adventures and Disney entertainment. The addition of the 750-room hotel gives the resort a grand total of 1,750 hotel rooms and showcasing Disney’s famous creativity and legendary guest service.

The story behind Disney Explorers Lodge takes place in the grand era of exploration and tells of explorers who built a lodge based on their adventures around the world, adding their own artefacts and specimens gathered during their lifetime of travels. At Disney Explorers Lodge, every detail supports the story, from more than 1,000 artefacts and memorabilia on display throughout the hotel to the four distinctly themed outdoor gardens, featuring Oceania, South America, Africa and Asia. The hotel’s three restaurants present sumptuous choices from Chinese delights at Dragon Wind to international cuisine at the World of Color Restaurant and laid-back dining at Chart Room Cafe.

Guests can also cool off in the Rain Drop Pool and purchase more than 20 exclusively designed exploration-theme items at The Trading Post. Disney Explorers Lodge and its exotic facilities not only provide yet another reason for guests to stay on-site at the resort, but also stay longer for a complete Disney vacation experience. Besides having convenient access to the park, guests can also enjoy exclusive resort experiences that immerse them in the ultimate Disney magic, as they can join the fun activities organised at all three resort hotels throughout the day. Hotel guests will also receive a Priority Admission Pass for selected attractions and seat reservations for stage shows in the park.
