The long-awaited news from the world-renowned Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau 2017 is officially out. Chinese restaurant Tin Lung Heen at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong has received two Michelin stars and the Italian restaurant, Tosca, also at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong received one star.
This is the fifth year in a row in which Tin Lung Heen has been awarded two Michelin stars and is one of eight Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong to receive this prestigious honour. This restaurant earned its fifth fork and spoon for the ultimate luxury dining experience under the guidance of Chef Paul Lau, one of the top Cantonese chefs in Hong Kong. A one-star rating for four consecutive years is an incredible feat for Chef Pino Lavarra, who has helmed Tosca since 2013.
The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong offer six dining venues including: the state-of-the-art Michelin-starred Italian restaurant, Tosca; two-star Michelin Chinese restaurant, Tin Lung Heen; Almas Caviar Bar serving the finest selection of caviar and Balik salmon; The Lounge and Bar, which features an international all-day dining menu; and Café 103, which serves signature chocolate afternoon tea. The rooftop bar, Ozone, is truly a stunning venue at 490 metres above sea level.
