Dubbed a miniature of the Paris Palais Garnier, Hanoi’s Opera House is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Southeast Asia. The theatre, which was built in 1911 by the French, hosts performances by both local and international artists.
Tourists can now explore what’s inside the Hanoi Opera House via guided tours and witness the stunning architectural features of one of the most beautiful and important buildings of the capital city.
The tours, which started in March on a trial basis, were developed by the century-old theatre with help from culture officials.
One tour option will last between 45 minutes to an hour and offer visitors a tour inside the theatre and a short performance. The second tour option is a six-hour art tour that will include visits to museums, the Old Quarter and a show at the opera house in the evening.
Officials said a team of professional guides will help tourists learn more about the history and architectural aspects of the theatre. More ticket details will be announced soon.
