DAY 1
|
Early pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to Can Tho. Boarding at Ninh Kieu pier in Can Tho. Welcome drink, introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure downstream of the Hau River. Lunch onboard while en route. Tour near Tra On floating market. Turning into Nicolai canal, towards the Mang Thit and Co Chien rivers. Rest on the upper deck in a scenery of rice fields, sugar cane, woods on the near banks. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back onboard. Rest on the deck or around the bar enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit River towards her anchorage point for the night. The Bassac sets anchor for the night on river Mang Thit.

DAY 2
|
06:30 Departure towards Cai Be. Have breakfast while enjoying the scenery along the waterway. The Bassac crosses Co Chien river then branches into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards. Arrive in Cai Be, check-out and embark on a local boat for a tour of Cai Be floating market and handicraft. End of the services on shore at Cai Be by mid-morning. Return transfer to Ho Chi Minh City and drop off at hotel. (Accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City is not included).

Our tour prices are inclusive of accommodation in shared twin room with air-condition (AC) and private bathroom, meals as stated in the programme [B= breakfast, L= lunch, D= dinner], transfers from/to Ho Chi Minh City with English or French-speaking guides in private air-conditioned vehicles, side excursions during the cruise are conducted with onboard resident English speaking guide, all entrance fees, boat fees as mentioned in the programme, drinking water and cold towels available on the vehicles.
Not included are optional tours, our tour guide accompanying onboard, surcharges for other language guides, surcharges for departure during Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, personal travel insurance, personal expenditure, such as drinks, souvenirs, laundry, camera fees, communications, postage, gratuities etc., meals and services other than mentioned in the programme, drinks with meals, compulsory gala dinners during festive seasons and peak season surcharges which will be advised at the time of booking, early check-in and late check-out at hotels, if not mentioned in the programme.
NOTE: Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on weather, road conditions, flight schedules and room availability. Prices will be adjusted periodically in case of fuel price increase by our suppliers. Maximum one (1) child per cabin applicable only if sharing a cabin with two (2) full paying adults. Extra bed (or mattress) for child is subject to the choice of cabin and boat. Surcharges will apply.
