DAY 1

08.00: Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and transfer to Halong City. Arrive at Bai Chay/Halong pier and transfer by tender to the boat. Enjoy a Welcome Drink while receiving the cruise briefing and the safety instructions. Enjoy lunch while sailing into the Bay of Halong. Arrive at Titop Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach and climbing the steps to the top of the mountain on the island for fantastic views and photo opportunities. Return to the boat and sail for about 45 minutes to our second stop - the Bat Cave area. Arrive at the Bat Cave area.
There are two programs to choose from at this time. One option is a 40 minute kayaking program to the nearby Bat Cave and lagoon and surrounding waters (at surcharge). Water is supplied. The second option is to visit the Cua Van floating fishing village, the largest floating fishing village in Halong Bay. There are about 130 floating houses and about 600 people live and work in the village. We will travel to the village on the tender and tour the village for approximately 20 minutes. Depart and sail for about 30 minutes to Luon Bo area, where we will anchor for overnight. Dinner and evening activities on board.

DAY 2
|
06.45 Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room. Enjoy Tai Chi instruction on the sundeck (duration about 30 minutes). Enjoy Breakfast served in the dining room. Transfer by tender to the “Day Boat” and begin to cruise to some of Halong Bay’s more untouched locales. Exact locations depend on tide conditions. Enjoy a leisurely day of kayaking and swimming. A multi-course lunch will be served mid-day. Pack lightly; swimwear and set of dry clothes and there may be some walking through shallow water and on slippery rocks so appropriate shoes for this (you may bring the sandals provided in your cabins). Return by tender to the Indochina Sails boat. Food carving demonstration in the dining room. Arrive at Luon Bo area - anchor for overnight. Dinner and evening activities on board.

DAY 3
|
06.30 Enjoy Tai Chi on the sundeck. Coffee, tea and breakfast pastries served in the dining room. Arrive by boat at the Surprise Cave. The visit takes about 45 minutes. Then, depart for Bai Chay/Halong pier while enjoying breakfast. Arrive at the jetty. Pick up and drive back to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel or further transfer to Hanoi/Noi Bai Airport for departure (accommodation in Hanoi is not included)…

Our tour prices are inclusive of accommodation in shared twin room with air-condition (AC) and private bathroom, meals as stated in the programme [B= breakfast, L= lunch, D= dinner], transfers to and from Hanoi with a local English or French speaking guide in private air-conditioned vehicles, all entrance fees and boat fees as mentioned in the programme, kayak on day 2, mineral water and cold towels available on the vehicles.
Not included are domestic airfare (quoted separately, if requested), international airfare to / from Vietnam (quoted separately, if requested), optional tours, beauty/spa service on board, our tour guide on board the boat in Halong Bay, surcharges for other language guides, surcharges for departure during Christmas, New Year and Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday, personal travel insurance, personal expenditure, such as drinks, souvenirs, laundry, camera fees, communications, postage, gratuities etc, meals and services other than mentioned in the programme, drinks with meals, compulsory gala dinners during festive seasons and peak season surcharges which will be advised at the time of booking, early check-in and late check-out, if not mentioned in the programme.
NOTE: Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on weather, road conditions, flight schedules and room availability. Prices will be adjusted periodically in case of fuel price increase by our suppliers. Maximum one (1) child per cabin applicable only if sharing a cabin with two (2) full paying adults. Extra bed (or mattress) for child is subject to the choice of cabin and boat. Surcharges will apply.
