Garden Tours - Chiang Mai

Diethelm Travel has teamed up with a Swedish biologist and his Thai wife in order to meet the demand for specialized tours focusing on tropical plants, flowers and trees.
Whether you are a hobby gardener or professional botanist, participating in one of the programs outlined in our brocure will enable you to obtain the necessary introduction and make subsequent visits to national parks, gardens and farmlands more understandable. All tours are guided by Thai graduates in tourism and biz management and a western PhD in biology.

This cultural exchange program is a joint effort between individual temples in Northern Thailand and the Blood Foundation, a small NGO based in Northern Thailand that runs education and health projects for Burmese refugees, Hill Tribe villages and disadvantaged Thai children, seeking to offer pilgrims a unique opportunity to experience all the riches and rewards of monastic life in Thailand. The aim is to foster a meaningful cultural exchange and to provide opportunities for spiritual progression within the Thai Buddhist framework.
