03 DAYS KANCHANABURI WESTERN EXPLORER TARIFF YEAR: 2012
Private tour (KANWWEX3): Daily departure from Bangkok with English speaking nature guide - minimum 2 persons.

OVERVIEW:
This 3-day trip provides an enjoyable and stimulating insight into the nature, history, culture and agricultural practices of western Thailand. You will explore the natural diversity of South-East Asia’s largest protected forest area with your nature guide, visit waterfalls, caves and historical sites, witness saphire production, check out rural silk, tobacco and mushroom production (dependent upon the season) and still have time to relax and sample some of the country’s great home cooking.

LOCATION:
Kanchanaburi is one of Thailand’s largest provinces, but one of the least populated. Boasting massive expanses of tropical forest, Kanchanaburi is steeped in history and is home to a range of culturally diverse groups. While the province’s famous Bridge over the River Kwai is visited by thousands of tourists each year, much of Kanchanaburi is untouched by the hand of tourism and offers some great experiences for the inquisitive traveler.
