Notes: Most of the route is along rural country roads, and according to the season we take off the beaten path dirt trail section. Quality 21-speed mountain-bikes with cycling helmets and water bottles are provided. The trek part is a little strenuous as we hike up a mountain, and down the valley. Scenic views along this interesting trail are complemented by our guides' excellent knowledge of local fauna and flora. Participants should be fit enough to hike for 2 to 3 hours on a variety of hilly trails. Trekking distance is somewhat flexible and depends on the season.
Lake kayak: The kayaking part is suitable for novices and it is indeed the perfect place to learn paddling strokes. Sit-on-top "Ocean-Kayaks" are used, sitting two persons per boat. These kayaks are safe to use, sturdy, stable and unsinkable. Life-vests and dry bags are supplied. Accommodation: This trip is “resort based” and you will be staying 2 nights in private rooms at the Royal Ping Garden Resort, a traditional Thai style hotel in a peaceful landscaped garden. The hotel offers good facilities with a swimming pool, table-tennis, traditional massage services, and more. This tour is suitable for families with children aged 07 years up, even for participants not taking the daily activities and staying at the hotel. Best season for this trip is the cool season from September to the end of February.
The itinerary/route is for guideline only and can slightly change according to the season, local conditions, climate, or participant’s fitness or abilities.
