Discover another Yangon
On the other side of Yangon River is a whole different world! Cross Yangon-River by local ferry and take a trishaw over dusty and bumpy roads, through local villages and plantations.
This is real local rural life, not to compare with the busy streets of very near Yangon and the Myanmar version of suburbia.
Not to be missed!

Step back in Time
A visit to Sittwe makes you step back in time. The city is a 1-hour flight from Yangonand the starting point of a splendid 5 hours’ boat ride to the archeological site of Mrauk U. With its fortress-like temples, Mrauk U is a site that has a cultural importance comparable to Bagan. From this town it is a further 2-hrs cruise to reach Chin villages – famous for the tattooed faces of the ladies.
