| Thaen Taeng gallery has wide collections of Lao traditional textiles and basketries from different places in Laos. The Director of museum started collecting Lao textiles in the late 1980. The expositions consist of various types of textiles from different ethnic groups in Laos, which use different ways of weaving. The gallery also has a rich collection of Lao basketries. |
| The gallery displays both individual pieces and complete costumes to represent the rich culture of Lao ethnic people as well as to show the craftsmanship of Lao ancestors inherited thousands of years ago.
