RATES, VALIDITY AND INCLUSIONS / EXCLUSIONS:

All rates are quoted net to Travel Agents in US Dollars at current rates of exchange and are subject to change without prior notice. Rates are valid as per the indicated duration.

All Diethelm Travel Laos tours include:
Accommodation in twin sharing room 
Full board except Laos Classic Tour
Transfers and tours by private transportation as per itinerary
Services of English or French speaking guides. German and Spanish speaking guides are subject to availability at the time of the booking. A supplement will apply if we cannot confirm our own guides. Japanese speaking guides are available at additional cost and are also subject to availability.
All sightseeing as detailed in the programs including entrance fees
Domestic airfares in economy class
Domestic airport taxes
Service charge, luggage handling and government taxes
1 FOC in single room as per 15 paying pax.

Not included in the tour price are:
Arrival and departure flights.
Visa fees (US $30-$40 per person ( subject to nationality )) + 2 passport photos for visa upon arrival at immigration checkpoints listed below)
International airport departure tax (US $ 10 per person)
Personal expenses such as drinks, telephone, souvenirs, laundry, etc ...
 

CHILD POLICY

Children between 2-12 years of age are entitled to:
30% discount on total package, provided that they share the room and existing bedding with 2 paying adults. 
15% discount on total package if extra-bed is required
30 % discount on applicable airfares if single room is required.
For infant between 0-2 years old, the following policy applies: all services free except air ticket (90% discount on adult full fare) if no extra-bed, no meals and no entrance fees are required

RESERVATION FEES

If only hotel and/or flight reservations are required, US$ 40 reservation fee per booking will be charged.

PAYMENT

Full prepayment by bank remittance, bank draft or wire transfer must be received at least 3 weeks before commencement of tour services.
Our bank is Banque pour le Commerce Exterieur Lao ( BCEL ). In order to send money there, please have your bank adhere to the following instructions:

CANCELLATIONS

For cancellation of confirmed arrangements, a cancellation fee according to the case incurred will be charged. The hotels generally have 21 days notice of cancellation policy for groups and 7 days notice of cancellation policy for individual travelers. Please note, that some deluxe boutique hotels have cancellation policies which differ from the above conditions - Please check with our reservations staff for exact details relating to your booking

PROGRAM CHANGES

Diethelm Travel Laos reserves the right to modify, re- arrange the order of any tour program, to cancel or substitute any element of any tour plan without notice when local conditions require such changes, as well as due to flight schedules which may change according to weather condition of such period.
Diethelm Travel Laos’ private tours are available with daily departures. Depending on the actual flights used, the schedule of Vientiane, Luang Prabang and Pakse sightseeing tours may sometimes have to be adjusted.
Although Diethelm Travel Laos offers a selection of accommodation at various hotels, there is limited room capacity especially in Luang Prabang and Pakse. If the requested accommodation is unavailable at the time of the booking, alternative accommodation may be substituted.
 

LIABILITY

Diethelm Travel acts as intermediary between the concerned airlines, hotels, transport operators and local tourist offices providing services. Diethelm Travel is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists, including those occurring outside the touring programs.  Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest must be borne by the tourists. Programs, prices, services and conditions are based on those valid at the time of printing and are therefore subject to change without advance notice before or during the tour.  Participation in our tour implies the tourists’ agreement to the above conditions.
